Hey Baltimore It's Summer! It’s summertime in the city – and that means tons of fun activities for locals and visitors of all ages. From outdoor movies to family-friendly museum exhibits to evening booze cruises, here’s a look at some of the best activities downtown Baltimore has to offer this summer:

Catch a Flick

On Fridays during July or August, the Open Air Film Festival descends upon LitItalyBaltimoreOpenAirMovieFestLittle Italy.  The films, which are screened on the side of Ciao Bella Restaurant, include classics with an Italian twist, like The Godfather and the original Ocean’s Eleven. Get there early, with chairs, to grab a good spot (and some great carry-out to enjoy).

Embrace Your Inner Klutz

KLUTZ Amazingly Immature, an interactive exhibit, has taken up residence at Port Discovery from now through September 4. The exhibit is fun, but also sneaks in some science and math. Kids (and their parents) will learn everything from how to juggle to how to transform money into wearable rings.

Go CruisingBaltimore Cruises

Every Friday evening, all summer long, Cruises on the Bay by Watermark sets off on an evening happy hour cruise, from the harbor to the Key Bridge and back again. Cruises depart from 401 Light Street and take about an hour and a half, during which you’ll see the city and port – and can enjoy drinks from a fully stocked bar.

On Saturday evenings, an hour-long cruise leaves the same location around 8 p.m., just in time to catch the sunset and take in the city as it lights up and comes to life for the evening.
