The Baltimore Book Festival, one of the region’s most hotly anticipated events, takes place in downtown Baltimore from Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30. Last year, local Baltimoreans who weren’t able to make it to Washington, D.C. for the National Women’s March organized a march of their own in Baltimore. With about 5,000 marchers in attendance, it far exceeded expectations and the energy was palpable.
